That’s a really nice track Paul. I liked it a lot. You might like the new Sun Kil Moon. (more country, less synth)

Mike - Don’t mind at all! I like Kathe Kollwitz, as well. I think she is fabulously disturbing and sad and horrible and beautiful.

Ponie - “Salon” - I am thinking of the Romantic era (Chopin, Schubert, Mendelssohn) where artists and musicians would all gather in one artist’s home sit in in the parlors (or conservatory) for hours reading poetry, drawing, painting, playing the spinnet. Its where the chamber revival happened, and artists were inspired by the beauty of the moment, the suggested intimacy of a sound being less lush and orchestrated and more appropriate for the living room and boudoir. That’s my take on it, anyhow. These sessions were called “salons”. [The dictionary says: a fashionable assemblage of notables (as literary figures, artists, or statesmen) held by custom at the home of a prominent person]
